Visit Rory's website here
Rory Sutherland is one of the most influential advertising professionals and original thinkers in the world today.
He’s a champion of behavioural economics and an early adopter of new technologies. On top of that, he’s also a highly influential speaker in the marketing business, speaking about innovation, marketing trends and where the industry is heading.
Besides his post as Vice Chairman of Ogilvy, Rory founded a global hub in London; Ogilvy Consulting’s Behavioural Science Practice which works to creatively apply the insights of behavioural science to create the ‘Unseen Opportunities’ in consumer behaviour - the small contextual changes which can have enormous effects on the decisions people make.
Lots of agencies talk about "bought, owned and earned" media, but Rory also looks for "invented media" and "discovered media": seeking out those unexpected (and inexpensive) contextual tweaks that transform the way that people think and act.
